My name is Carol and I’m a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a BSc Honors degree in Counselling with Psychotherapy, and I’m also a member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I work both face to face and on line with adults, adolescents and under 16s providing a safe therapeutic space where the client can feel heard, supported and understood, and also be able to speak freely and openly without being judged.
I’ve experience with clients who were struggling with grief, depression and anxiety, and I have helped and supported them in beginning their journey of self-discovery and healing, with rewarding and positives changes in their lives.
I work with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, family support and grief. I utilize a variety of techniques and approaches including CBT, Humanistic Approach and Person Centred Therapy.
I am also committed to ongoing training and continuous education in my personal and professional development by attending various workshops and training seminars.
I am subject to clinical supervision best practices so all therapeutic care provided to each client must be supervised by a clinical supervisor. Client confidentiality is always maintained in this circumstance.
